Alex Attends BAFTA Britannia Awards with wife, Jodie

The ceremony, which was held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, celebrates British talent and Hollywood stars with a "strong connection" to the UK film industry. This year sees a host of A-list stars, including Jodie Foster, Ewan McGregor, Samuel L Jackson, Ricky Gervais, Felicity Jones and director Ang Lee.

Jennifer Lawrence presented fellow Oscar-winner Jodie with the Stanley Kubrick Britannia award for excellence in film.

Alex's father, David, accompanied the couple along with Jodie's sons Charles and Kit.

Alex and Jodie attended the Hammer Museum 14th Annual Gala In The Garden with generous support from Bottega Veneta at Hammer Museum on October 8, 2016 in Westwood, California.This year, the Hammer honoured two extraordinary individuals—Laurie Anderson and Todd Haynes.

Condolonces to the Hedison Family

Our condolonces to David, Alex and Serena for the loss of their beloved Bridget to breast cancer. Our thoughts are with them and wishing them moments of peace and comfort at this sad time.

Alex and Jodie attend The Emmys

Alex and Jodie attended the 2014 Emmy Awards last night held at The Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Jodie was nominated for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series. She directed an episode of Orange is the New Black called "Lesbian Request Denied". Unfortunately Jodie did not win. 

Later the couple attended HBO's Official 2014 Emmy Afterparty held at The Plaza at the Pacific Design Centre in LA.

Good News!! Alex's new catalogue is now available

Diane Rosenstein Fine Art is excited to announce the publication of a catalogue from Alexandra Hedison's recent exhibition, "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere." This is a full color catalogue, and is a Limited Edition of 250 copies. Alexandra has just come into the gallery, and has asked me to make 50 signed copies available to your website.

Alex's New Exhibition

Alexandra's latest work, "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere" will be on exhibition at Diane Rosenstein Fine Art (www.dianerosenstein.com), 9399 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, California, USA from 3 November - 15 December, 2012.

Opening Reception is on Saturday November 3, 2012 from 6pm - 8pm.
On view will be a new series of work: Everybody Knows This is Nowhere (2008-2012) as well as a related group of four photographs from (Re)building (2005).

Created over a period of four years, the new photographs in “Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere,” record the mercurial terrain beneath the Malibu beach houses where Alex grew up.

The exhibition will be on view from Nov. 3 – Dec. 15, 2012 Hours are 10am – 6pm, Tuesday – Saturday

Alex is scheduled to appear as presenter at L-Beach in Germany in 2012.  The beach resort "Weissenhaeuser Strand" is directly on the beach at the Baltic Sea.

Alex was a presenter at the 7th Annual Lucie Awards held at the prestigious Lincoln Centre in NYC on October 19th. The curator of the year award presented by Alex went to Sarah Greenough for Looking In: Robert Franks' The Americans.

L Word Convention 6

The 3 day event in Blackpool last weekend was a blast for all the L word fans who attended. Alex's first guest appearance was joined by Pam Grier, Mia Kirshner, Rose Rollins, Daniela Sea and Anne Ramsay.

L Word Convention 6

Alex will be attending the L6 convention on 18-20 September 2009 at Norbreck Castle Hotel, Blackpool, England. Other cast members attending include Mia Kirshner, Kate Moennnig, Pam Grier and Rose Rollins. The three day event features guest talks, photo and autograph sessions, parties and competitons. Last Word

This episode is about trust and right now Helena has very little as far as Dylan is concerned. The last episode of season 6 of The L word sees Helena walk away from Dylan following their encounter at Jenny/Shane's studio where Jenny is editing the tribute video for Bette and Tina. Dylan begs Jenny not to tell Helena that she (Dylan) knew about the Nikki Stevens test but Jenny refuses to comply. Alice had earlier told Helena where Dylan is so that is where Helena finds them and hears their argument. Helena gets irate about the fact that Dylan knew all along and will not be pacified by Dylan. She just cannot trust her anymore or more to the point she doesn't know if she can.

Last Couple Standing

In this episode of season 6, Dylan made reappeared in Helena's life after walking out at Max's baby shower. Helena was feeling rather lonely as most of her friends have dance partners. Dylan came along to cheer her up or rather to make out and make a fresh start.

Lactose Intolerant

Episode 6 of season 6 of the L word sees Helena and Dylan going to a surprise baby shower thrown by Jenny for Max's baby. Helena and Dylan look so happy together and in love until Jenny congratulates Dylan on passing her test at HIT Club. Dylan is surprised that Helena would do that to her and leaves the house. Helena tries to explain but Dylan is not interested in listening. Helena is upset. She goes after her but no luck. The rest of the episode sees Helena drowning her sorrow with alcohol.
